The primary focus of the Orange Fire program is player development. Our goal is to provide youth athletes with the opportunity and training necessary to develop into very skilled and highly competitive players.
The Orange Fire travel club fields boys and girls teams at multiple age levels and competes in the SkyLine Travel League. It fielded six teams in the fall of 2017 league play (its U16 Boys, U16 Girls, U12 Girls and U14 Girls teams claimed first place in their respective divisions!) and traveled to Martinsville as a club for our end of season tournament. This spring we have 4 teams competing in the Skyline Travel League, and 1 team competing NCSL (National Capital Soccer League).
Tryouts for the 2018-2019 season will occur in May. All players in the region (Orange and beyond) interested in a competitive and fun soccer experience are invited. Stay tuned for more information and get connected on the Orange Fire Facebook page.
The U9/U10 Academy focuses on individual development, teaching the game and enhancing player performance. Our goal is to provide youth athletes who are more serious about soccer the highest level of training available within OSA in a competitive fun learning environment. Coaches on all Orange Fire Academy Teams hold Virginia Youth Soccer Coaching Licenses.
